There were days, months, and years where I often wondered if my life would ever change for the better. Better yet, how did I even get here?
One day I was walking a pleasant life and the next day that door completely closed and I lived amongst dark horrors. A life so unpleasant I would daydream of horrible ways to escape it
But just like that, times changed again.. another door appeared, I nervously and excitedly opened it, and inside was a wonderful life, but not just any wonderful life. It was the one I had dreamed of in my early youth.
Then it all made sense. The door to my once pleasant life had to close. I wasn’t the person who was capable of living in my dream life. I was forged in the darkness of the first door closing and through it emerged the woman I was meant to be, ready and worthy of her dream life.
I hope whenever you gaze upon this painting it can be a reminder of all the wonderful abundance that exists and all we have to do is open the next door and there it is.
